She is from the main branch of the Zenin clan, one of the "Prominent Three Families" of the Jujutsu world.

She left the Zenin family in order to prove herself capable of being a Sorcerer after being deemed uncapable, since she lacks Cursed Energy.

Chousou bears strong attachments to his brothers and is very overprotective of them. ~!However, after receiving a vision during his battle with Itadori, Chousou was eventually convinced that Sukuna's vessel was actually one of his younger brothers. He then became furious at Mahito and the other cursed spirits for manipulating him into harming Itadori.!~
